I really enjoyed this book. The information was easy to understand and helped me make improvements to my diet. I was aware of some of the information since I have been interested in nutrition for awhile. I found the author's writing is very easy to understand. I especially liked where she explained what different certifications and labels mean if anything.

I would rather spend my money on quality, organically grown vegetables and fruits, whole grains and humanely raised and properly fed food than a doctor and a pharmacy. This amazing book is a complete blueprint to accomplish this mission. I will be buying copies for all my family and friends. Loved it, easy to read and understand.

Stefanie saved me from a prison of counting calories! I counted them for 10 years and I could never control y weight! Now, I eat amazingly healthy foods with a few cheat items here and there. I eat more than my husband. I don't remember the last time I counted a calorie and my weight is less than what I was in high school with no fluctuations. More importantly, my relationship with food is healthy! I enjoy food now! I do not run from it! I love making it, eating it and talking about it. Wow-already was aware of lots of the material covered here, but this really should open everyone's eyes regarding what we're eating, how's it's made, and the links to ever-increasing health & environment issues. A must-have for anyone truly concerned about their food.
